Dr. Eric Spencer, DPT, OCS, CIDN, CSCS

Founder - Physical Therapist

Dr. Spencer is a residency-trained orthopedic specialist whose 10+ years of experience make him one of the most sought after rehab specialists in the Dallas-Fort Worth greater metro area. He has a particular interest in optimizing orthopedic and post surgical outcomes through advanced hands-on therapy combined with a creative and engaging approach to rehabilitation.

Dr. Spencer also has a passion to help cure vestibular disorders as well as post concussion syndromes that have often left patients desperate to regain their former quality of life. This interest led him to pursue advanced training, eventually becoming recognized as a certified vestibular specialist as well as achieving an advanced certification in dry needling.

Graduating from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 2013 sparked Dr. Spencer’s journey to becoming an expert in the field of rehabilitative medicine. Having a tenacious drive to be excellent in every endeavor, he immediately sought board-certification through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialities (ABPTS) after successfully completing his orthopedic residency training at Harris Health System in Houston, Texas.

Following specialization, Dr. Spencer and his wife relocated to Los Angeles, California, where he spearheaded the development of Santa Clarita Valley Therapy, leading his clinic to become the premier establishment for rehabilitative needs in the region of Southern Cal. While functioning as Clinical Director, Dr. Spencer also lectured frequently at local universities and doctoral programs on the subjects of anatomy and physiology, biomechanics and kinesiology. He also worked closely with UCLA’s pediatric surgery division to establish return-to-sport criteria for local schools and universities.

Originally from rural Arkansas, Dr. Spencer grew up in a grassroots community that provided a strong foundation of family values. He brings this “salt of the earth” character to his daily interactions with each patient, as he truly desires to not only help them on their journey to healing- but to also come to know them personally along the way.

Dr. Spencer finds his purpose daily in spending time with his family. He has been married for 10+ years to his college sweetheart, Erica Spencer, and they share four beautiful children together. He enjoys staying active outdoors with his wife and children, coaching youth sports and serving in his local church.
